Meade County Schools will be closed for in-person instruction on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, due to inclement weather.
Today will be an NTI Virtual Learning Day for students. All students will have NTI assignments from their classes to complete from home. Students may access their assignments via the Meade County NTI Portal. Assignments will be posted on the NTI Assignment Portal for students by 8:30 am. All work should be submitted electronically or returned on the next school day.
If you have additional questions, please contact your child’s school/teacher. Throughout the school day, school staff will be available for assistance by contacting the school or via email.

Your participation plays a key role in helping us provide school supplies to all grades, update technology, school wide rewards, as well as school-wide field trips.

Please note that fundraiser items $200 or more must be PAID and PICKED UP in the school office.

Meade County is under a boil water advisory for Friday, 11/7. Water fountains will be closed. Students and staff are encouraged to bring plastic water bottles from home if possible. EES will work to provide drinking water if needed. Thank you.

🏃🐾🏃🏼♀️➡️The cross country team had a solid end to the season! Our team is filled with great athletes and even better sportsmanship. Both boys and girls did a great job competing, cheering on their teammates, and settings goals to improve each week.
Thank you to all the parents, staff members, and other competing schools in making the season a success!
Ekron Elementary is hosting the Meade County elementary (grades 3-6) cross country race tomorrow!
Please note that roads marked on the map below will be blocked by Ekron FD from about 4:50 - 5:50 tomorrow afternoon. If you live along this route, please help our runners by securing any outside animals or bringing them inside if possible. Safety is our top priority! We appreciate your help and support.
Midterm grade information for students grades 4-6
Picture Day Information - Tuesday, Sept. 23rd. Order forms will be sent home today.
Students may not stay after school for the Grandparent's Day/Book Fair. Students must follow regular dismissal procedures. Doors will open for guests after car rider dismissal is complete.
The Ekron Cross Country team had a great start to the season! We are so proud of our runners! Congrats to those earning medals tonight. Our team showed lots of spirit, encouragement, and sportsmanship 💜💛
