Meade County Schools is proud to debut the newest season of GREENWAVE: The Stories of Our Community, a video series that captures the heart of our schools through the voices of those who’ve lived, led, and loved within our community.
The opening episode, “Stand on the Shoulders of Giants,” highlights Meade County’s deep-rooted connection to agriculture and the powerful legacy of educators who continue to shape future generations. Sisters Noel Pack and Callie Hobbs, both Meade County alumni and current agriculture teachers, reflect on how their experiences in FFA and public education have inspired them to serve students today.
Joining their story are three distinguished alumni who helped lay the foundation for agriculture education in the district:
Brian Chism, former Kentucky FFA State President
Nicholas Hardesty, former American FFA Star in Production
Leslie Stith, former Kentucky FFA State Treasurer
Together, their stories remind us that “a story is told best by those who lived it.” This episode is not just a tribute to the past—it’s a celebration of the future, rooted in the values that define Meade County.
