Meade County Schools is proud to release the newest episode of Greenwave Stories titled We Don’t Have to Say a Word. This episode reflects on the remarkable 1991 Greenwave Football season and features interviews with Coach French, along with former players John Beavin and Chucky Valentine.
The 1991 team captured the attention of the Meade County community with its strength, discipline, and unity. The season was filled with memorable moments that led to a run to the state championship. More importantly, it created lifelong lessons for the young men who wore the Greenwave jersey.
