Good afternoon SPMS families,
We will hold Stuart Pepper Middle School Site-Based Decision-Making Council elections on Monday, May 12th. If you are interested in running for a parent position on the council please email your interest to the SPMS PTO chairs - Lauren Caster and Emy Wolfe no later than Wednesday, April 30th at spms.pto@meade.kyschools.us. Your must have a student that is attending SPMS for the 25-26 school year.
An email will be sent out on Thursday, May 1st advising all families of the candidates. A link will be included in the email that won't open until the day of the election starting at 8:00 a.m. and ending at 3:00 p.m. Online voting will require parents to enter their Student's State ID number, found on the Infinite Campus App, to ensure that all counted votes are cast by parents/guardians of current students at SPMS. Parents may also choose to vote in person on May 12th at the main office of SPMS.
Results of that election will be given to the council at their May meeting and each candidate will receive notification of the results.
We appreciate your time and consideration.
